The Health and Care Act 2022 contains a provision for government to enforce mass medication in the form of water fluoridation

1. Decisions for or against fluoridation were previously made locally. This was not ideal but better than the Act's central control to override local democracy and to deny personal choice over what goes into our bodies. There is no mandate for this.

2. Fluoridated water is a medicine, as acknowledged by Lord Jauncey in Scotland in 1983, and by the Supreme Court of New Zealand in 2018. Tooth decay is not infectious, so there is no justification for compulsory treatment. It is unethical to force people to ingest fluoride (as is already the case for some 6 million people in fluoridated areas of England). It is a denial of informed consent for medical treatment, and contrary to the principles of NHS Personalised Care and Social Prescribing.

3. Dr Hardy Limeback, Head of Preventive Dentistry at the University of Toronto, apologised for having promoted fluoridation, and confessed that for years he had not studied the toxicology information.

Nearly all of Europe rejects fluoridation, and Israel stopped it due to both health concerns and the fact that tooth decay is no less in fluoridated countries than in unfluoridated ones.

4. Health Canada in 2014 and Public Health England in 2018 were unable to produce evidence that fluoride is safe to consume. Recent research has found that fluoride adversely affects the foetal and infant brain. Dr Phillipe Grandjean (Harvard University): "IQ losses associated with community water fluoridation are substantial and of significant public health concern". Dr Howard Hu: "Fluoride is a developmental neurotoxicant at levels of exposure seen in the general population in water-fluoridated communities".

Adding lead to petrol is banned, and adding fluoride to water should be also. What do you intend to do about this?
